Automatic unit suitable for grouping and cluster packing of brik packs, combi and similar coming from a packaging machine, starting from flat cardboard.
Multipack closing process by “hot-melt” system.
- Structure realised with stainless materials;
- main motorization consisting of gear motor, angular transmissions and cardanique shafts;
- the continuous operational movements are mechanically synchronized and controlled through PLC;
- mechanical safety joint with slipping signal;
- pack infeed on single lane through cardan chain conveyor;
- pack feeding obtained through continuous timing device;
- storage device containing about 1600 blanks;
- blank withdrawing unit through vacuum pump operated suction devices;
- central chain with continuous movement, complete with pack entrainment pins;

- shaped guides for the folding of the blank to be winded around the packs;
- melt glueing device for blank sealing on the bottom, complete with pipe and gun;
- multipack outlet conveyor;
- safety at work guardings consisting of fixed panels in stainless steel sheet in the lower side and openable hatches in tubular, with stainless steel net, in the upper side. These latter, that can be moved longitudinally, are complete with safety microswitch;
- centralised automatic grease lubrication installation;
- alarm signal with display;
- electrical installation according to IP55 regulations, with stainless steel electric board.
